Laser Aided Recovery System (LARS)

LARS is a precision 3-D day-night, all-weather navigation system operable in GPS-denied environments. The system allows for precision ship-relative navigation, as well as mission execution operable at ranges up to 80 km. A low-SWaP airborne element allows the system to be implemented on long-range high altitude platforms down to Class I small UAVs.

Helios Counter Directed Energy Weapon System

Helios is a low SWaP, completely passive Counter Directed Energy Weapon system capable of nullifying the enemy’s DEW. Consisting of a small UAV-mounted sensor package, Helios provides full analysis of the incoming DEW beam including localization and intensity. With this information it passively jams the enemy, protecting the vehicle and the payload.

Microscopic Imaging Research Station

MIRS is a turn-key advanced microscope system for various applications requiring high magnification and complex image processing capability. MIRS is capable of imaging resolution down to 0.3 um and utilizes computer-controlled zoom and focus for ease of operation. The MIRS software platform provides powerful user-configurable image processing tools for high speed and advanced image processing applications. Image processing is implemented on either an FPGA or CPU for ultimate performance and flexibility. A high-performance camera provides color imagery with 2-megapixel imagery and speeds up to 20,000 frames per second. MIRS is perfect for research and development applications including MEMS, microfluidics, and DNA sequencing.
